Making a donation to IHEU
Submitted by admin on 5 December, 2008 - 08:41
Thank you very much for considering a donation to IHEU.
UK Taxpayers please consider making a donation to International Humanist Trust, registered charity no. 1098454. IHT can claim 28p from the Inland Revenue for every pound you contribute. Please send a cheque (drawn on a UK bank) payable to International Humanist Trust to our office address and include a note with the Gift Aid Declaration: I want all donations I have made since 6 April 2000 and all donations in the future to be Gift Aid until I notify you otherwise. Or print out this page and send it with your cheque.
Other ways to donate
If you have a UK bank account but you are not a UK taxpayer, please send a cheque (drawn on a UK bank) payable to International Humanist and Ethical Union to our office address.
Credit Card (Mastercard or Visa): if you are making a donation from outside the UK, credit card is the best way to pay, although we have to pay about 5% to the credit card processor. Please use our secure web site: click the Visa or Mastercard logos at the top right of any web page.
PayPal: we can also accept PayPal payments if you live in a country served by Paypal, although we have to pay about 5% to PayPal. You do not need to be a member of Paypal to use their service. If paying by Paypal, after completing this form, please use the Paypal button at the top right of any page on this web site.
Bank Transfer to Barclays Bank PLC, Chancery Lane and Goslings Branch, 147 Holborn, London EC1N 2NW, United Kingdom, account name International Humanist and Ethical Union, sort code 20-41-41, account number 50958840, SWIFT code BARCGB22, IBAN number GB59BARC20414150958840. Please use your name as the payment reference. If making Bank Transfers to IHEU, please reverse all bank charges to yourself.
Non-UK cheque / check: please make it payable to International Humanist and Ethical Union and send it to our office address. This is the most expensive way to pay, and the bank deducts at least £15 from your payment before we receive it.
We will acknowledge all donations and we can provide a receipt on request. We may record your contact details and use them to keep you informed about our activities. If you do not want us to do this, please let us know.
